Lecture Series
A lecture series program was organized by the Department of Philosophy at Khariar Autonomous College. The event was presided over by Principal Prasanta Panda. Dr. Ranjan Mishra, a Philosophy Professor from Sonepur College, attended as the Chief Guest and delivered a specialized discussion on the Ethics of the Bhagavad Gita. Other notable participants included: Dr. Ranveer Singh: Vice Principal, attended as a guest. Dr. G. Priyambada: Student Welfare Officer. Prof. Pradeep Behera: who provided insights into "The Bhagavad Gita in Philosophical Theory." During the session, Dr. Ranjan Mishra addressed various questions related to the topic. NSS Winter Camp
A 7-day NSS Winter Camp was successfully organized by the UG NSS Unit in the adopted village KuttiPadar from 22nd December to 28th December under the able leadership of NSS Programme Officer Dr. Suranjan Pradhan and the guidance of the Principal, Mr. Prasanta Kumar Panda. The camp aimed to promote social responsibility, discipline, leadership, and community service among the NSS volunteers. Throughout the seven days, various activities were conducted to create awareness and encourage active participation in nation-building. The programme included cleanliness drives, awareness programmes, community interaction, health and hygiene awareness, plantation activities, and group discussions on social issues. The volunteers actively participated with enthusiasm and dedication, contributing positively to the success of the camp. Special emphasis was given to teamwork, self-discipline, and service to society. The volunteers gained practical experience and developed a sense of social commitment during the camp period. The camp concluded on 28th December with a valedictory session in KuttiPadar village, where the efforts of the volunteers were appreciated by the organizers. Overall, the 7-day NSS Winter Camp was a meaningful and enriching experience for all participants.
