The department is led by Mrutyunjaya Meher, a dedicated academician and researcher with a strong background in pure and applied mathematics. He has achieved an All India Rank 51 in the CSIR-NET examination and is GATE qualified twice, reflecting his academic competence and subject mastery. He has published many research papers in reputed journals and has some ongoing research works under communication, demonstrating his continuous engagement in mathematical research. His academic leadership inspires students to pursue excellence in learning, research, and competitive examinations.
